ImageIn reading an article about using author’s blogs in the classroom (peripherally related to my new, excruciatingly stubborn thesis topic), I cam across a quote from Laurie Hals Anderson’s blog.  She wrote, among other things, a book called Speak; many of my students have read this one, and the stories they have told about it have convinced me that I am not strong enough to read it yet.  My respect for her courage grew even further upon reading this post.
