In honour of the spirit-crushing process of editing one’s own work, I have posted a revised and rewritten copy of the prologue and first two chapters of Emily Rose.  It can be found by clicking on the page tab at the top of the site, or by clicking here.

I tell you, there is no feeling like realizing that something that took you ten hours to write is total crap and has to be excised.

Scratch that.  There is a worse feeling.  It’s when you realize that what you wrote is actually pretty good, but doesn’t belong in the story and can’t be used.  That’s way worse.
